Print Van Go returned to Clonmel Applefest in 2021 to take part in their annual festival, celebrating the food, heritage and nature of Clonmel and its environs. Our drop-in print sessions ran throughout the day and gave visitors to the festival the opportunity to explore the rich heritage of all things apples through print, literature and performance.

Summary |
Applefest, live printing and zine making workshop; Print Van Go joined Applefest in Clonmel, 2019 to run a day of drop-in printmaking workshops, giving participants the opportunity to print recipe booklets and festival postcards inspired by the colourful and abundant heritage of all things apples. Throughout the day participants could print a wooden block, lasercut with my grandmother’s apple jelly recipe and create their own apple jelly recipe booklet to take away. The booklet could also be personalised using the apple themed rubber stamps or younger participants could create their own postcards to send to friends and family.
